Math Assessment Information and Pathways District Parent Flyer

At Millikan we are constantly striving to provide the most rigorous curriculum for our students. On April 26 and 27during math class we are providing every student a UCLA Mathematics Diagnostic Test (MDT) that enables a teacher to identify specific topics and skills needed by the student for success in mathematics at the next level.
In addition, Local District Northeast is offering several parent information sessions on the Middle School Math Pathways at a various Middle Schools in Local District Northeast. Secondary Math Coordinator, Jaspreet Sandha, will be presenting this information to parents.

PTSA’s Spring Extravaganza Fair, Open House & Minimum Days

The PTSA’s Spring Extravaganza Fair is on Thursday, April 6, starting at 3:30. There will be food, entertainment, and activities. Tickets will be one dollar each. Come join the fun!
The fair will be followed by Open House from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.
Please remember that the campus will be closed from 12:45 to 3:30 on Thursday for fair set up, and students must attend the fair with an adult!
April 6 & 7 are Minimum Days - school is out at 12:29 pm. Busses leave at 3:00 pm.

Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient Roger Donlon visits Millikan

Millikan Affiliated Charter School, in partnership with the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation, will host Medal of Honor Recipient Colonel Roger Donlon on Thursday, February 9th, 2017. Colonel Donlon will share his powerful story with Mr. McLemore's 7th Grade History students as part of a character program, “Lessons of Personal Bravery and Self-Sacrifice”

All students entering 7th grade after July 1, 2016 must bring proof of a Tdap Booster given on or after their 7th birthday. Tdap is the vaccine that prevents Pertussis, commonly known as Whooping Cough.
